Beloved husband of Joan A. Chwal, nee Oliver and devoted father of Michael A. Chwal and Linda A. Kokoszka. Al was born and raised in Newark and lived the past 52 years in Irvington. He was a US Air Force Veteran and a postal worker, retired after 38 years. In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Heart Association would be appreciated.
