Afia Wyschatycky

Former Township of Irvington employee, loved gardening, lived in Metuchen, Wyschatycky, Afia (Kuzmick) 87, entered into eternal rest on Friday, September 14, 2012. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the visitation on Friday, September 21 from 5 to 8 PM with the parastas at 7 PM and on Saturday September 22 from 8:30 to 9:00 AM at the Union Funeral Home-Lytwyn & Lytwyn, 1600 Stuyvesant Ave., Union, NJ. A funeral service will follow at St. John's Ukrainian Catholic Church, 719 Sandford Avenue, Newark, NJ at 9:30 AM with interment at St. Andrew's Cemetery, So. Bound Brook, NJ. Born in Ukraine on March 10, 1925 she came to the United States in 1950. Afia was the youngest of four sisters. She was predeceased by her husband Michael in 1976. Afia worked for the township of Irvington Maintenance Dept., retiring in 1986. Surviving are her son Bohdan and wife Nancy, a daughter Olga and her husband Myron Losanowych with grandson Michael.
