Alex Paluk

Alex Paluk, of Mountainside, NJ, passed away on Sunday, July 29, 2012. He was 91 years old. Relatives and friends are invited to visit on Thursday, August 2 from 5-9 PM at the Union Funeral Home-Lytwyn & Lytwyn, 1600 Stuyvesant Ave, Union, NJ. A funeral service will be held at 7 PM, Thursday evening. Interment is at St. Andrew's Cemetery in South Bound Brook on Friday, August 3 at 11 AM. Alex was born on March 20, 1921 in Ukraine, lived in Germany and moved to the USA in 1951, settling in New Jersey. All of his working life, Alex was an independent mason by treade, owning his own business. With pride, many homes have Alex's trademark of quality steps, foundations, sidewalks and driveways. Alex is survived by his wife Elisabeth; daughters, Hilda Paluk and Rose Caspar; Rose's husband Bill; and three grandsons, Tyler, Troy and Brett.
