Mr. Alfred "Al" King passed away surrounded by his loving family on October 19, 2013 at the age of 70. Visiting hours are 3 pm to 8 pm on Tuesday October 22 in Levandoski Funeral Home 44 Bay Avenue in Bloomfield. Visit www.levandoskifuneralhome.com for on line condolences and directions. All are invited to meet his family at Saint Valentine Church for his funeral mass at 10 am on Wednesday morning. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington. Al is the beloved husband of Catherine "Cathy" King. Loving father of John A. (his wife Rebecca) King and Steven M. King. Brother of Matthew King and the late Sheila McCormick. Son in Law of Anne and the late John Wengrin. Grandfather of Gretchen and Logan. Brother in Law of Michael Wengrin, Joseph (his wife Michele) Wengrin and Anne Marie (her husband Anthony) Charles. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and special friends. Al retired in 2004 as a route supervisor for Executive Coffee Service in Belleville. He was a past member of St. Valentine Athletic Club and was an usher at St. Valentine Church.
