Allan J Kapral

Allan Joseph Kapral son of Nancy (Stanchak) and Joseph Kapral passed away on June 5, 2024 at the age of 87. He was born on December 20,1936 on Sammis Ave in Dover, NJ. He was brought up in Montville and spent the rest of his life in Bloomfield.

Allan was a veteran who proudly served in the US Army until June,1963. As part of his service, he was stationed in Germany.

He retired in 2000 after working many happy and productive years at Marotta Scientific Controls in Boonton, NJ

Allan enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid hunter, fisherman and gardener.

He is predeceased by his parents. Survived by his wife Irene, daughters Lorraine Billemeyer and her husband Raymond, Denise Sheppard and her husband Patrick, granddaughters Abigail and Emily Sheppard and his brothers Kenny and Gary Kapral as well a niece, Karen Phillips and nephew, Brian Kapral and grandnieces/nephews.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 9, 2024 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Levandoski-Grillo Funeral Home, 44 Bay Ave., Bloomfield, NJ.

Relatives and Friends are invited to attend the funeral on Monday, June 10th at 10:00 a.m.  A Catholic Prayer Service will take place at 11:00 a.m.  Burial will follow at Glendale Cemetery, Bloomfield.
