Americo Lombardino

August 21, 1922 — September 17, 2017

Americo Lombardino, 95 of West Orange, formerly of Newark, entered into eternal life on September 17th at Canterbury Assisted Living. Born in Newark, he was a lifelong resident. He was a proud US Army WWII Veteran, receiving several commendations, including the Bronze Star and Combat Infantry Award for his valiant efforts in the Battle of the Bulge. He is a retired Tool & Dye Maker for the Whitehead-Hoag Company of Newark. He is preceded in death by his wife, Pauline (nee: Snow), his siblings; John Lombardini, Marie Racine, Ida Lombardi, Phyllis Pepe, Josephine Marateo, & Thomas Lombardini.He is survived by many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Friday, September 22 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will begin at 12:45 pm. Burial will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, East Orange.
