Anastasia Hrybowych

Anastasia was the beloved wife of the late Dr. Eugene Hrybowych; devoted mother of Melanie Temnycky and her husband, Vlodko and Natalia Hrybowych; loving grandmother of Sophia and Mykola Temnycky and the dear sister of the late Eugene Wasylchenko, the late Maria Fejer and the late Kateryna Wasylchenko. The family is requesting memorial donations to: ***PLAST Ukrainian Scouting Organization - "PLAST USO" for our Plast stanytsia in Newark/Whippany ***"UCARE Inc" - Ukrainian Childrens Aid & Relief effort ucareinc.org Donations will be directed to the Lutuhine orphanage in Eastern Ukraine (see description below) please write in memory of Anastasia Hrybowych ***"UOC of USA Museum Fund" - Ukrainian Orthodox Center Bound Brook, NJ Museum Fund. The museum will be devoted to the Ukrainian American cultural, religious and social history. Lutuhine Orphanage The Pryyateli Ditey Charity Fund has been supporting the Lutuhine boarding school for orphaned children (Luhansk Region) for many years. In summer 2014, due to military actions approaching Lutuhine, the children from the orphanage were replaced to summer camp in Odessa Region, from where in the late August 2014 they were moved to several orphanages in Odessa region (Balta and ///). As Lutuhine is under control of separatists, there is no direct contact with this orphanage any longer. However, we still keep in touch and provide possible support to orphans removed from Lutuhine orphanage to other places delivering them warm clothes, some other supplies, getting them involved in the projects of our organization: two 18 y.o. female graduates have been enrolled in our educational program this academic year having become our scholarship recipients who also get our social supervision under this program.
