Andrea D'Agostino

Andrea Marie D’Agostino, of Cedar Grove, who loved being called “Nana” by her grandchildren, departed her loving family on Jan. 26, 2021. She was 69 years old. Andrea, who was born on March 4, 1951, was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Andrea always put others before herself. She had the most generous and loving heart and touched so many with her presence. Andrea especially enjoyed spending time with her two grandchildren and attending their soccer and baseball games. She often cheered loudly from the sidelines and supported them every step of the way. In addition, Andrea had a love for cooking, chatting with friends and a recent interest in real estate. Her family will always be grateful for the gift of having her in their lives. She is survived by her husband, Michael D’Agostino, of Cedar Grove. She is also survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Lindsay Pignataro, and their children, Lilly and Luke, of Connecticut. Andrea is also fondly remembered by loving family members: Richard Ferraiuolo and his wife, Geraldine, of Basking Ridge; Andrew Ferraiuolo, of Caldwell; Joanne Giordano, and her husband, Joseph, of West Caldwell; Donna Gisone, and her husband, Paul, of New Vernon; Jacqueline Loyek, and her husband, Scott, of Morristown; and Gerald D’Anton, of West Caldwell. Andrea was predeceased by her parents, Anthony and Frances Ferraiuolo, and her cousin, Anita D’Anton. Andrea, a graduate of Lacordaire Academy in Montclair, had a strong belief in Catholic education and instilled those values in her grandchildren. A Memorial Celebration will be celebrated on Saturday, February 20, 2021 from 10:00 a.m., to 12:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home.
