Husband, father, grandfather, brother, and educator Andrew Triano passed away on Wednesday February 7, 2024.
Born January 13, 1947, he grew up in Kearny, NJ where he became a basketball standout, and was inducted into the Kearny Hall of Fame. After attending Kentucky Wesleyan University, he returned to Kearny where he had an illustrious career in education as a history teacher and guidance counselor. Throughout his 44-year career as an educator he touched countless lives, as his former students still recognize him as having a profound impact on them, inspiring their current careers.
Andrew is survived by his loving wife Alda, sons Jason and Michael, sisters Donna and Wendy, Daughter-in-law Casey, his nieces and nephews, Tara, Danielle, Kyle, Connor and beloved grandchildren Nolan and Saige, along with many other family and friends who loved him. Andrew was always there for the people he loved. He lived a wonderful life and will be sorely missed.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 12, 2024 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Levandoski-Grillo Funeral Home, 44 Bay Ave., Bloomfield, NJ.

Relatives and Friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass on Wednesday February 14, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 60 Byrd Ave., Bloomfield.
