Angelo A. D'Onofrio

Mr. Angelo A. D'Onofrio of Bloomfield passed away at home with his family by his side after a long struggle at the age of 78. The visiting hours are 2pm to 4pm and 7pm to 9pm on Sunday at Levandoski Funeral Home 44 Bay Avenue Bloomfield. The funeral will begin at 9am at the funeral home on Monday morning. His funeral mass will begin at 10am at Saint Valentine Church in Bloomfield. A private cremation will follow his funeral mass. Angelo is survived by his loving wife Elaine C. D'Onofrio. Father of Michele D'Onofrio (her fiancee Arthur Margeotes), Kenneth D'Onofrio (his wife Bonnie) and Richard D'Onofrio (his wife Jacqueline). Dear brother of the late Philomena Guiliano, Mary Salvato, Joseph and Alfred. Grandfather of Marc, Jason, Jack, Matthew, Jessica, Jaime, Erica, Alyssa, Richard Jr., and Isabella. Angelo was a retired Narcotics Detective with the Newark Police Department for 25 years and retired in 1988. He also was an Army Veteran during peacetime in 1954.
