Anna Del Guercio Loving wife, mother and grandmother, 98 Anna Del Guercio of Franklin Park, formerly of Parlin, NJ passed away on April 25, 2020. A private visitation will be held at Levandoski-Grillo Funeral Home, 44 Bay Ave., Bloomfield, NJ on Friday May 1 at 11:00am and private interment at Glendale Cemetery at 12:30pm. Anna, daughter of Rosa (Tuturro) and Pasquale Tubito, was born and raised in Newark. Her first job was at Shiman’s Jewelers at the age of 16. After attending Arts High design school, she was employed at Betty’s Bridal Shop and Jacobi’s Tailor shop. She was also a talented baker and after being a homemaker for over ten years, she worked at Sunshine Biscuits. Her creativity, care and support of family, determination, and energetic positive outlook inspired those who knew her. Anna was the beloved wife of the late Lawrence Del Guercio Sr. for 65 years, loving mother of the late Diana Leston (her husband, Ramon “Ray”), Donna Malyszko (her husband, David) and Lawrence (“Larry”) Del Guercio Jr. (his wife, Athanasia “Sia”) and grandmother of Niki Anna, Anthony Lawrence and Arianna Marie Leston. She is predeceased by her brothers Michael, James, Anthony, Joseph and her sister Angela Lanza. She leaves many nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Cancer Society www.cancer.org or Catholic Charities 590 N. Seventh Street, Newark, NJ www.ccannj.com would be preferred.
