Aracelis Rexach

Aracelis Rexach,77, of Newark, N.J. went home to be the Lord on Tuesday July 12, 2022. Aracelis passed away suddenly while visiting at the home of her daughter, Esther Rexach, in Fort Meyers, Florida. She was born in Fajardo, Puerto Rico, on March 26, 1945, to the late Francisco DeJesus Sanchez and the late Marcelina Carmona Aracelis took pride in being a housewife for her husband and six children. She had lived in Irvington, N.J. since 1974 prior to moving to Newark, N.J. in 2018. She enjoyed cooking for her family and watching their favorite T.V. shows together. She found peace in listing to Christian sermons and music. Aracelis was the wife of the late Juan Rexach; mother of Wanda Rexach, Juan Rexach Jr, Esther Rexach, Samuel Rexach, David Rexach, and Isaac Rexach; sister of Zoraida DeJesus and Abraham DeJesus. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Family and Friends will gather at the Fountain of Life Church / Manantial de Vida, 444 5th Street, Newark, N.J. on Thursday July 21st from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the church the next morning on Friday July 22nd from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Prayer services starting at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, 340 Ridge Road, North Arlington, N.J.
