Barbara Kikidakis

Barbara Kikidakis, age 73, of Union, NJ passed away on Friday, November 11, 2016. Born in Johnstown, PA, Barbara was the oldest of two children born to Ruth Link. Upon graduating from the University of Pittsburgh, Barbara moved to New Jersey to pursue a career in teaching. She earned her Master's degree from New York University. Motivated by a love of reading, Barbara was an English teacher for 37 years at Lafayette Middle School in Elizabeth, NJ. It was in Elizabeth that she met Dimitrios Kikidakis, who would be her husband for 45 years. Mother of the late Michael, Barbara is survived by her husband and her eldest son, Peter Kikidakis and his wife, Lindsay Kendrick. Barbara loved to travel and garden and will be missed by a host of family and friends
