Barbara Polujak

Barbara Polujak, 96 of Mountainside, entered into eternal rest on October 1, 2021. Born in Poland on July 3, 1925, she came to the United States in 1960 settling in Irvington and moving to Mountainside in 1989. She worked for Yale Hook & Eye for 33 years retiring in 1993. She was a devout parishioner of St. Stanislaw Church, Newark. There she often volunteered many hours a week for Bingo and any task the church asked of her. She is preceded in death by her husband, Steven Polujak and siblings; Taddeusz Rzeszotrski, Sophie Buczkowski & Anna Jankowski. She is survived by 3 nieces and 1 nephew. Visitation will be held on Friday, October 8, 2021 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Union Funeral Home, 1600 Stuyvesant Ave., Union, NJ Relatives and Friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass on Saturday, October 9th at 10:00 a.m. at St. Stanislaus Church, 146 Irvine Turner Blvd., Newark, NJ Interment will follow at Our Lady of Czestochowa Cemetery, Doylestown, PA. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to St. Stanislaw Church in her memory.
