Barbara Skorochod

Skorochod, Barbara (nee Taranenko), 95, passed away at home in Union on November 21, 2012. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the funeral service on Tuesday, November 27 at 9:30 AM at the Holy Ascension Ukrainian Orthodox Church, 650 Irvington Ave., Maplewood, NJ with the interment to follow at St. Andrew's Cemetery, Bound Brook. There will be a visitation on Sunday (11/25) from 4-8 PM and Tuesday (11/27) from 8:30-9:15 AM at the Union Funeral Home-Lytwyn & Lytwyn (unionfuneralhome.com), 1600 Stuyvesant Ave., Union, NJ. The parastas will be on Sunday at 7 PM. Mrs. Skorochod was the beloved wife of the late John, The devoted mother of Nicholas and his wife Janina and the late Walter. She was the loving grandmother of Helen Mazzo and Theresa Zarzecki and the dear great grandmother of Brandon, Bryan and Matthew Zarzecki and Gregory Mazzo.
