Beryl May Williams was born on January 30th, 1930, in St. Thomas, Jamaica W.I before the Wall Street Crash of 1929. To demonstrate how historic January was in that year, we can look at a timeline and find that fourteen events were recorded. Beryl was the daughter of Estella Grant and James Campbell. In 1965 Beryl married the love of her life Leonard Williams who predeceased her in 2014. Beryl wanted to pursue her dream of traveling the World and in 1968 she migrated to the United States. Although she did not travel the entire World, she manifested another dream by being able to work in a profession where she cared for people as a Nursing Assistant.
Beryl led her life as a devout Christian who always encouraged others to pray and remain close to God. In her dedication to Christ, she took on various roles in the church including Sunday school teacher and volunteering in the Prison ministry. One of the other things that was so important to Beryl Williams was giving and throughout her life she gave to several charities. She will always be remembered for her kindness and generosity and that any one she had a conversation with she encouraged them to give their lives to Christ.
Aunt B as she was affectionately known by her close family and friends leaves behind her only son, her grandson Garfield, granddaughter Sophia and several other grandchildren, her nieces Grace and Vivienne and additional nieces and nephews as well as great grandchildren/grandnieces and grandnephews, her first cousin Contance Chisholm. Aunt B will be missed by the many people young and old that played a significant role in her life.
