Bronislawa Karwowski

Bronislawa Karwowski, 94 of Bloomfield, entered into eternal rest at her home. Born in Zamosc, Poland on March 21, 1922 she was a captured by the Nazi's at the age of 19 and forced into a work camp in German. After the war, she met her husband Peter and they started a family. On September 21, 1961, the whole family emigrated to Bloomfield. She found employment as a seamstress with Frank Saltz & Sons of Passaic where she worked for many years until retirement. She is predeceased by her husband, Peter (1989) and 6 siblings in Poland. She is the cherished mother of Edmund, Henryk & Richard, beloved grandmother of Jessica, Kathleen, Krista, Eric, Lindsay & step-grandchildren; Dana Peters & Christina DellaValle, loving great-grandmother of Katie, Morgen & Elysa. Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 26th from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Relatives and Friends are invited to attend the funeral on Friday morning at 9:00 a.m. at Levandoski-Grillo Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 44 Bay Ave., Bloomfield, NJ 07003. A Funeral Service will begin at 10:00 a.m. Interment will then follow at Glendale Cemetery, Bloomfield.
