Carmen Jaqueline Vidal

Carmen Jaqueline Vidal, entered into the eternal life on January 6, 2023 at Home, in Newark, NJ. Born on November 10, 1962 in Mamey, Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic. Jaqueline was the daughter to the late Dolores Martinez & Persio Vidal. She was a resident of Newark since her arrival to the United States in November of 1991.


Jaqueline care and devotion, extended to her line of work. She worked for many years caring for others as a Home Health Aide, gaining the love and trust of her patients. Jaque, loved to have fun with her family and friends. Dancing bachata, merengue and salsa were among her favorite enjoyments, she could have easily become a professional dancer. Jaque was an excellent cook, her extended family had the pleasure of enjoying lots of meal mastered by her – she was very proud of her skills and she used to say that her cooking was the reason why her brother learned how to eat well since he was a picky eater back when they lived in the Dominican Republic. Ever since she arrived to the United States, she loved going back to her native country and her trips to the Dominican Republic became very special, as this time was always treasured by all of her children.


She is the beloved mother of Jenny Cabrera, Felix Cabrera, Felicia Cabrera & Alex Fernandez. Loving grandmother of Winette Ramirez, Edwin Ramirez, Felix Cabrera Jr, Kiara Cabrera, Kayla Cabrera, Carlos Ulloa, Reynaldo Ulloa, Andrew Diaz & Emerson Castillo. She recently and for the first time, became the great-grandmother of the beautiful Kamila Cabrera. She is also the proud and loving sister of Angel Martinez. Not to mentioned, the most loving aunt to Angel Martinez Jr., Amalia Martinez & Angelica Martinez.


Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 11, 2023 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Levandoski-Grillo Funeral Home, 44 Bay Ave., Bloomfield, NJ.


Relatives and Friends are invited to attend the funeral on Thursday, January 12th, gathering at the Funeral Home at 10:00 a.m. A Funeral farewell will be offered at 11:00 a.m. at the Levandoski-Grillo Funeral Home, 44 Bay Ave., Bloomfield, NJ.


Interment to follow at Glendale Cemetery, 28 Hoover Avenue, Bloomfield, NJ.



Carmen Jaqueline Vidal, pasó a la vida eterna en Enero 6, 2023 en su Casa de Newark, NJ. Nacida en Noviembre 10, 1962 en Mamey, Puerto Plata, Republica Dominicana. Jaqueline era la hija de los ya fallecidos Dolores Martinez y Persio Vidal. Ella residía en la ciudad de Newark desde su llegada a los Estados Unidos en el mes de Noviembre del 1991.


El cuidado y la devoción de Jaqueline, se extendió a su área de trabajo. Ella trabajó por muchos años cuidando a otras personas en su tarea de “Cuidadora de la Salud en su Hogar”, ganándose el amor y la confianza de sus pacientes. A Jaque le encantaba divertirse en compañía de sus familiares y amigos. Le fascinaba bailar bachata, merengue y salsa, eran de las cosas favoritas que más disfrutaba; quizás fácilmente, pudo haberse convertido en una bailarina profesional si se lo hubiese propuesto. Jaque cocinaba muy rico y sabroso para toda su familia, la cual tuvo el placer y privilegio de disfrutar su comida – ella estaba muy orgullosa de lo bueno que era para la cocina; ella decía que su hermano aprendió a comer bien, atraves de ella, cuando ellos Vivian en la Republica Dominicana; ya que este, no sabía lo que era comer bien - Desde que Jaque llegó a los Estados Unidos, Ella amaba volver a su país natal; sus viajes a la Republica Dominicana eran muy especiales, ya que eran momentos muy queridos y apreciados por todos sus hijos.


Jaqueline es la querida madre de Jenny Cabrera, Félix Cabrera, Felicia Cabrera & Alex Fernández. Amada abuela de Winette Ramírez, Edwin Ramírez, Félix Cabrera Jr., Kiara Cabrera, Kayla Cabrera, Carlos Ulloa, Reynaldo Ulloa, Andrew Díaz & Emerson Castillo. Ella recientemente y por primera vez, se convirtió en bisabuela de la hermosa Kamila Cabrera. Ella también es con mucho orgullo y amor, la única hermana de Angel Martínez. Cabe mencionar, la más amorosa tía de Angel Martínez Jr., Amalia Martínez y Angelica Martinez.


La visitación será el Miércoles, Enero 11, 2023 desde las 5:00 p.m. hasta las 9:00 p.m. en el Funeral Levandoski-Grillo Funeral Home, 44 Bay Ave., Bloomfield, NJ.


Familiares y amigos están todos invitados a que nos acompañen al funeral el Jueves 12, 2023. Nos reuniremos en la Casa Funeral a las 10:00 a.m. Daremos un adiós a Jaque a las 11:00 a.m. en el funeral Levandoski-Grillo Funeral Home, 44 Bay Ave., Bloomfield, NJ.


Seguido el entierro en Glendale Cemetery, 28 Hoover Avenue, Bloomfield, NJ.
