Catherine "Katie" Wagner

Catherine "Katie" Wagner (nee: Triano), 99 of Perth Amboy, entered into eternal rest on April 27, 2020 at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Perth Amboy.  Born July 11, 1920 in Newark, to the late Frank Triano & Maria Tremarco, she lived there most of her life before moving to Perth Amboy 28 years ago.  She was employed for many years with Victory Opitcal of Newark.  Katie lived a simple life in a way.  She loved to spend time with her family and managed to make friends whereever she went.  When she lived in the Ironbound section of Newark she would enjoy walking around, especially Ferry Street, where everyone knew her.  Her friendly personality will be missed by many. She is predeceased by her husband, Leslie, son John Wagner, son-in-law, William Kober, grandson, John Wagner & David Kober & 7 siblings. She is the beloved mother of Frank Wagner, Marie Kober, mother in law of Theresa Wagner, dear sister of Rose Policastro, cherished grandmother of Pamela Pinho, Lisa Wagner, William Kober, Jeff Wagner & Keri Wankmueller, proud and loving great grandmother of 16 and 1 great-great grandchild. Funeral Services are being held in private.  Interment will take place at Hollywood Memorial Park in Union. Donations may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital in her memory.
