Charles M Holthausen

Charles M. Holthausen, 53, of Irvington, NJ passed away suddenly and entered into eternal life on Friday, October 27, 2023. Born in Irvington, NJ, he also lived in Irvington for many years, as well as Kansas where he dreamed of moving to again.

“Charlie”, as he was affectionately known to many, had a heart of gold, helping those in need around his residence and in the surrounding community, as well as his dear family and friends and will be deeply missed every day. He was a very spiritual person and enjoyed collecting crystals and items such as movies from his favorite holidays of Christmas and Halloween.

He was the loving son of Charles W. Holthausen (predeceased) and Elizabeth Holthausen (predeceased), loving grandson to William and Bridget Lang (predeceased) and Charles and Laura Holthausen (predeceased). Loving nephew of Stanley and Francine Holthausen (predeceased), William and Helen Lang (predeceased), Ronald and Veronica Grazeski (predeceased), Edward and Helen Gamon (predeceased). He is survived by his loving sister, Patricia Holthausen, and many dear cousins and cherished friends.

Charlie was an organ donor and his gift of life to someone in need will be a beautiful blessing and bring some comfort to those of us grieving.

Thank you to those of you who knew and loved our Charlie. He will be in our hearts always.

Cremation will be private. A Celebration of Life for our beloved Charlie will be arranged.
