Charles W. Brown

Charles W. Brown, 91, passed away on May 24, 2015 at Father Hudson House in Elizabeth. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the funeral service on Tuesday, June 2, at 11 AM at the Union Funeral Home-Lytwyn & Lytwyn, 1600 Stuyvesant Ave., Union with the entombment to follow at Hollywood Cemetery. There will be a visitation from 10 AM until the time of the service, at the funeral home. Charles was the beloved husband of 68 years of the late Rose B. He was the devoted father of Sharon, the step father of John Bailey and his wife Joyce, and the brother of the late Otis and Frank Brown. He is also survived by great nieces and great nephews. Mr. Brown was an Army Veteran who proudly served his country during WWII. In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations to the American Cancer Society.
