Claudion Joseph, 92 of East Orange, entered into rest on January 25, 2022 at St. Barnabas Medical Center. Born in Haiti, he recently located to East Orange. Claudion Jacques Joseph was born in Trou-du-Nord on January 24, 1930. He was from a family of four children ( 3 boys and 1 girl) of which he was the third one. He was baptized at the Baptist Church in his hometown. From his conversion to his death, he was a member of this church climbing all the levels of Christian perseverance until his promotion to the rank of "preacher, responsible of station" and to the diaconate of the church. “Pè clo” made his first step on the way to education at a school of Trou Du Nord, Haiti. In 1967 his sense of responsibility and love for his family led him to Nassau where he lived for 23 long years. He returned back to Haiti after his retirement. He married his wife born Jeannine Clervil for 61 years. Pè Clo is a responsible and loving father of 9 children including 1 boy and 8 daughters which 2 of them died. All his living children are adults and leaders today. Claudion had to his credit some great qualities, among others: He greatly amassed his family for which he made great sacrifices, and what made him, a hard worker to take care of his family. And more of all of this, Pè Clo" was a wise, loving, understanding and generous person, always ready to help. In short, Pè Clo was a humble servant of God and his entourage. He had only two hobbies, wrestling and jocking with kids by discipline them. We thought he was so mean, but it was his way to save our life. He was a strong man still the age of 90 he was driving his bike to go to his farm every morning at 6 o clock. The wear and tear of the time embedded in 92 long years had the upper hand on Claudion Jacques Joseph whose nick name is "Pè Clo" who passed away on Tuesday, January 25, 2022 at 5:30 pm, the day after his 92nd birthday, Claudion Jacques was at the school of the puny reed, which allowed him to impose a good dosis of resistance to the difficulties of life to enjoy the delights of longevity. Thus, he lived his good life until he died of his beautiful death. Unfortunately, resistance, resilience and even robustness are not synonymous with immortality, and therefore cannot place someone above the natural laws, one of which wants that "the human person has birth, lives and dies like the spark to fly. This natural law carried a mandate to bring issued by the God of "Pè Clo" on January 25th. And I see a "Pè Clo" as a Hero of Life, proud of his achievements in his posture as a "victor", on his way to the house of his father, the supreme court of human being, with in hand an act of defense concluded by these words: "I fought the good fight, I finished the race, I kept the faith. From now on the crown of justice is reserved for me; It is the Lord Himself, the just judge, who will pass it on to me on that day" (2 Timothy6:7) Viewing will be held on Saturday, February 12, 2022 from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. at Bethel Haitian Baptist Church, 320 Springdale Avenue, East Orange, NJ 07017 (973-673-2216) The Funeral Service will begin at 9:00 a.m. Entombment will follow at Hollywood Cemetery, Union.
