Clermont Biennestin

Clermont Biennstin, 68, Irvington, entered eternal rest on Thursday October 5, 2023, in Newark. He was born and raised in Marchand Dessalines, Haiti to the late Ernest Biennestin Thelusma and late Mariella Jean.

Clermont and his family immigrated to the United States in the August 1979, calling New Jersey home. He worked at Sphinx Transportation as a driver for many years. In his free time Clermont took joy in playing dominoes with his cousins, he also was an avid soccer fan.

He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Marie Biennestin; his children, Darline, Fredlyne, Edwine, and Natalie; his grandchildren and siblings. Along with many other extended relatives and close friends. He will be truly missed.

A visitation will be held on Friday, October 20, 2023 from 5:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., in the on Funeral Home, 1600 Stuyvesant Avenue Union, NJ 07083. A funeral Mass will start at 9:00 am on Saturday October 21, 2023, at First Shiloh Baptist Church located at 424 Main St, Orange, NJ 07050.

Entombment to follow at Hollywood Memorial Park Mausoleum, Union at 1500 Stuyvesant Avenue Union, NJ 07083.

The repast will take place at Costa Del Sol at 2443 Vauxhall Ave, Union, NJ 07083. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Clermont’s name for the CAODEHF organization.
