Daniel Acevedo Lopez

Daniel Acevedo Lopez, 78 of Newark, entered into eternal rest on January 10, 2022, at University Hospital, Newark. Born in Guatemala on December 19, 1943, to the late Victor Acevedo Ramirez & Angela Lopez, he lived in Newark for the past 34 years. He was employed with Newark Airport as a Maintenance Engineer. He was very proud and loved his home country, he enjoyed playing cards especially Poker & UNO. He was a very happy and interesting person and took care of everyone who came into his life. He loved spending time with his family, especially spoiling his grandchildren and walking through the neighborhood talking to his many friends. He is survived by his beloved wife, Rubila, his children; Daniel, Herbert, Wilbert Acevedo & Aleyda Castillo, grandchildren; David Castillo, Matthew Castillo, Kenneth Acevedo & Kimberly Acevedo. He is also survived by his brother, Cesar Folgar in California. Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 22, 2022, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Levandoski-Grillo Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 44 Bay Ave., Bloomfield, NJ. Cremation will be private.
