Dear family members and friends, As i prepare for the final farewell for my mother I would like to share one thought with you all. I know that it is traditional to have flowers at a burial, but my Mother, and I too, do not see the sense for the cost, when there are so many worthwhile causes. My mother supported many wonderful causes and among them: the new Cathedral that was opened about 2 years ago in Kyiv; the Ukrainian Catholic Education Foundation and the Ukrainian Museum in New York. Please honor her memory with prayer, but if you wish to do more, please choose one of the above three and send a donation instead of flowers in her name. The contact information for each of the causes is listed below: This is the contact information to the Cathedral in Kyiv that my Mother helped raise funds for a few years ago.
