David Patrick Burke

Mr. David P. Burke of Bloomfield passed away suddenly on July 24, 2013. A memorial mass will be celebrated at Saint Valentine Church 125 No. Spring St. Bloomfield in his memory on _TBA at _TBA am. A private cremation has taken place. There are no calling hours at the funeral home. David is survived by his brother Jack Burke (Anne) his sister Anne Steir (Arthur) and his daughter Desiree Hanna and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister Carol Stavin. David was a retired Postmaster (U.S.P.S.) in Glen Ridge for 30 years.He was an Army veteran of the Viet Nam War. In lieu of flowers donations to American Heart Association 1 Union St. Suite 301 Robbinsville NJ 08691 would be appreciated. Arrangements are by Levandoski Funeral Home, Bloomfield.
