Dawn Staples

Dawn P. Staples, 76 of Brick, formerly of Irvington, entered into eternal rest on December 13, 2021 at New York Presbyterian Medical Center.  Born March 24, 1945 in East Orange to the late Philip Staples & Elsie Shumlich, she was grew up in Irvington and graduated from Irvington High School.  Dawn was employed with the Respiratory Therapy Department of St. Barnabas Medical Center, Livingston for over 30 years.   She retired in 2007 at the age of 62.  Dawn retired to Brick where she enjoyed all the Jersey Shore has to offer.   She was also a talented cook and baker, anything she baked was superb.    She is survived by many dear cousins and friends.   Services are being held privately at Hollywood Memorial Park Cemetery, Union, NJ.  Please kindly consider a donation to the United Cerebral Palsy Foundation at www.UCP.org
