Diane McZorn was born on May 7, 1960 in New Brunswick New Jersey to the late Victoria Doyle, and the late Henry H. Jordan.
Diane grew up in Newark, New Jersey, where she attended the school system until she was 10 years old. Her family moved to New Brunswick. There is where Diane went to Nathan Hale and completed fourth and fifth grade. She did her junior high school years at Redshaw Elementary School and her ninth year at New Brunswick High. Her family then decided to move back to Newark, there she finished her schooling and graduated from Central High School.
She came to know and accepted the Lord in her life at the age of 17. God began to use her straight away to encourage and bring others to Christ. She then joined The Glorious Church of God in Christ. Diane found this place where she was filled with God’s spirit under the leadership of Pastor and Bishop Minnie and William Mason. As she grew in God, it was there where she met her beloved husband, Reynold Walter McZorn, Sr., and in their union four children were born.
Soon after, God called them to a higher purpose. They were led to fellowship and joined the Greater Bethlehem Healing Temple, under the leadership of Prophet Brian J. Mosley. The family was later called to serve at Zoe Ministries in New York under the Master Prophet E. Bernard Jordan, where they remain.
When it comes to Diane’s occupation, she wore many hats. Diane worked for the Newark Board of Education until 1996, and later became employed as store manager for two top retail stores in New Jersey. She worked clean-up until a knee injury caused her to change her profession. She helped her husband start up his own parcel business, after which she attended Essex County College. There she became a medical billing specialist. Diane worked until she decided to call it quits to enjoy the fruits of her labor.
Diane lived life to the fullest – singing and smiling all the way, even through tough times. She firmly believed if God says do it, then it must be done. And if God says don’t, then it won’t be done. She taught this up until the time of her calling to be reunited with her maker.
She leaves here to rejoice in her ascension, her husband, Reynold McZorn; her four children, Latasha, and spouse, Alex Ajayi, Reynold McZorn, Jr., Sherree McZorn, and Regina McZorn; her four grandchildren, Siren McZorn, Channah McZorn, Esosa and Eoshe Ajayi; two sisters, Joyce Walker and Charlie Ann Doyle; two brothers, Jerry Lee Jordan, and Michael Anthony Jordan.
