Dimitrios Kikidakis

Dimitrios Kikidakis, of Union passed away peacefully at home on Thursday. Dimitrios was born on the Greek island of Chios, the eldest of four children. He immigrated to the United States in the 1960s where he met and married the love of his life, Barbara, and started a successful contracting company. In addition to working with his hands, Dimitrios enjoyed traveling and watching sports. Dimitrios is survived by his eldest son, Peter and Peter's wife Lindsay, as well as two brothers, a sister, and a host of nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife Barbara and his son Michael. Visiting is Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. The funeral will take place at 11 a.m. Thursday, August 2, 2018, at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church in Westfield, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the March of Dimes.
