Dolores Ligenza, 94, of Union, N.J., passed away on August 3, 2024. Private services have been entrusted to Union Funeral Home - Lytwyn & Grillo, 1600 Stuyvesant Avenue, Union, N.J. Her burial was held at Hollywood Cemetery, Union. Memories and condolences may be shared at unionfuneralhome.com

Born in Jersey City, N.J. to the late William and Mary Tekieniewski, Dolores lived in Jersey City before settling in Union. Prior to retiring, she was a bank teller with Citibank in New York City. Dolores liked to play cards, bingo, and pinnacle. She also liked to watch old classic movies.

Predeceased by her husband, Steven Ligenza, her brothers, Peter, Charlie, John, and Joseph, and her sisters, Florence and Ann. She is survived by her son, Robert Ligenza, daughter-in-law, Lizabeth Ann Bonilla-Ligenza; and granddaughters, Danielle and Christine Ligenza and Jamie and Lizabeth Canzano.
