Donna M. Ward

Donna M. Ward, 76, of Toms River, N.J., passed away on Sunday, September 29, 2024.  Memorial visitation will be on Saturday, October 5, 2024 from 11 a.m. through 1 p.m. at Union Funeral Home – Lytwyn & Grillo, 1600 Stuyvesant Avenue, Union, N.J.  A Catholic Prayer Service will be offered at 12:30 p.m.  Entombment of ashes will take place at Hollywood Memorial Park, Union, at a later date.  Memories and condolences may be shared at unionfuneralhome.com.

Born in Northern New Jersey to the late Joseph, Sr. and Nancy Tafaro, Donna lived in Newark, Hillside, Union, Maryland and South Brunswick before settling in Toms River.  With a long career in the insurance industry, most recently, she was the Director of Finance for Centric Benefits Consulting.  In her free time, Donna enjoyed spending time with family and friends and trips to the boardwalk arcades with her great nieces.  She loved her reality TV shows and watching sports.

Predeceased by her parents and brother, Joseph Tafaro, Jr., Donna is survived by her sister-in-law, Irene Tafaro; niece and nephews, Anita, Michael, and Nicholas; and great nieces, Gianna, Amelia, and Daniella.
