Dora M. Faura, 75 of Bloomfield, entered into eternal rest on December 27, 2024 at Mountainside Medical Center, with her family by her side.
Born February 10, 1949 in Lima, Peru, to the late Alfredo Gonzalez & Josefina Angeles, she lived in Newark for over 40 years before recently moving to Bloomfield. She was last employed as a Consultant with Mary Kay, retiring a few years ago.
Dora was a faithful member of the Soka Gakkai International-USA (SGI-USA) Buddhist Community in the United States. Always with a smile, she had a heart of gold and would think nothing of helping a person in need. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and took great pleasure in taking care of her garden. Her gardening skills were always improving as she sought new ways to grow flowers the fastest and best so that her garden thrived.
She is survived by her sons, Julio Faura & his wife, Prum & Ted Faura & his wife Melissa. She is the loving grandmother of Evan, Teddie, Angelina, Gianna & Dylan. She is also survived by her brother Alfredo Gonzalez. She is preceded in death by her sisters, Paula Torres & Lucy Gonzalez.
