Dorothy A Glennon

Dorothy A. Glennon (nee: Langan), 90, entered into eternal rest on July 7th at Park Crescent Health Care Facility, East Orange. Born July 16, 1926 in Pittston, PA she lived in Bloomfield for nearly 30 years, before moving back to Pennsylvania and Virginia for many years. She was a retired employee of the Brookdale Shop Rite. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary Post 711 (Miles Suarez) & the American Legion of Bangor, PA. She is preceded in death by her husband, Francis J. "Frank" Glennon, a son, Leonard & sisters; Rita Byle, Peggy Langan & Jeannie Langan. She is survived by her children; Dusty, Dorothy Hurd, Dennis, Danny & Marcella Glennon, her siblings; Betty Callahan, Alice Klaminski, Robert Langan, Harold Langan, Joan Custren. She is also the beloved grandmother of 8 grandchildren & 7 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 12th from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Levandoski-Grillo Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 44 Bay Avenue, Bloomfield, NJ. (Additional parking along Broughton Avenue). Relatives and Friends are invited to attend the funeral on Thursday morning at 9:00 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Valentine Church at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover.
