Duveau Lamadieu

Duveau Lamadieu Sr, age 68, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 13, 2023, at Newark Beth Israel Hospital in Newark, New Jersey. He was born August 15, 1955, in Haiti, to Dominique and Alta Lamadieu. Duveau migrated from Haiti seeking a better life for himself and his family. During his time living in the United States, he assisted many family and friends, working 29 years at FedEx Express.

Duveau truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures; chatting with friends and family, watching soccer, enjoying various genres of music, dancing, educating and most of all loved history. Duveau had an uncanny ability to reach people deeply and positively.

Family, friends, and others whose lives Duveau touched are invited on Sunday, September 24, 2023 from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. to Bethsaida Seventh Day Adventist Church, 133 High Street, West Orange, NJ 07052.  Funeral Service to be held from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.   Repast to follow service at the church.

Burial on Monday, September 25, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. at Union Funeral Home, 1600 Stuyvesant Ave., Union, NJ thence to Rosedale Cemetery, 408 Orange Road, Montclair, NJ
