Edward D. Hall Jr was born and raised in Bloomfield, NJ by the late Edward D. Hall Sr and Nellie Polski. He grew up making memories and lifelong friends on Mill Street. He then started what was the beginning of a lifelong career of working hard at the young age of 12 setting pins at Broad & Bay Bowling Alley where he spent much of his time working and grew a love for bowling. Edward went on to graduate from Bloomfield High School, and he enlisted in the Army National Guard where he spent 6 years in the Reserve and 6 months of active duty. He then began working in the Plumbers Union and attending trade school to become a licensed plumber. In 1975 he started his own business at the age of 40, Edward D. Hall Plumbing & Heating, LLC working alongside his two sons and eldest grandson for many successful years.
Edward was fortunate enough to meet the one and only love of his life, the late Caraleen Hall when they were in grammar school. He was always proud to tell the story he was smitten for his wife since 6th grade. They were married at Sacred Heart Church in Bloomfield, NJ in October of 1958. They then settled in on Newark Avenue in Bloomfield where they raised their three children. Years later becoming grandparents to five beautiful grandchildren whom they both loved and adored. Aside from bowling, Edward had a great passion for horses always wishing to live out his dream in the countryside which eventually brought them to relocating to Hamburg, NJ. Along with Raider, Edward always loved his dog Molly as well as his Grand pups Brody & Missy. These family pets brought him immense joy.
Edward will be remembered for the 3 pillars that he lived by: faith, family, friends and his love for a late-night ice cream.
