Edward "Eddie" Zbikowski

Edward "Eddie" R. Zbikowski, a lifelong resident of Bloomfield, passed away at his residence on Sunday, August 6, 2017 at the age of 38.Eddie proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He was the head chef for the Kenilworth school system. Prior to that he was a bartender at the former Midtown Bar & Grill in Nutley. Ed was a people person and a likeable guy.Eddie was the devoted son of Angela M. (nee Russano) Zbikowski and the late Michael E. Zbikowski; dear brother of Margurite (Gokhan) Aktas and Michael Zbikowski; cherished uncle of Michael and Jason Aktas; and loving companion of Sonia Suarez.Visitation will be at the Levadoski-Grillo Funeral & Cremation Service, (www.levandoskigrillofuneralsevices.com) 44 Bay Avenue, Bloomfield (additional parking on Broughton Avenue) on Friday from 2-4 & 6-8 pm. A Funeral Mass will be offered in Saint Valentine Church, 125 North Spring Street, Bloomfield, on Saturday at 10:00 am. All attending the Mass are asked to gather at the church. Burial will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.
