Edwin Earl Joseph O’Garro Obituary

Mr. Edwin O’Garro 86, better known as Garro passed away peacefully at home on Monday January 15th 2024 from natural causes.

Edwin was born on the island of St. Kitts, West Indies on July 20, 1937 to Mrs. Edna Carty and Mr. Charlie O’Garro.

Edwin’s profession was a plumber until retirement. He migrated to New Jersey, United States where he resided.

He was predeceased by his devoted wife Ruth O’Garro, his mother Edna Carty, father Charlie O’Garro, and a number of his brothers and sisters.

Edwin is survived by his loving children, grand children, great grandchildren, brothers and sisters, including sisters and brothers in law, nieces, nephews, cousins, daughter and son in law and close friends.

Edwin enjoyed traveling, exploring foods, music, sports, playing dominoes and card games.

The wake will be held at the Union Funeral Home 1600 Stuyvesant Ave, Union New Jersey. Thursday Feb. 1st 2024 from 5pm to 9pm and the Home going service, Friday February 2nd at 10am.
