Eloisa Rivera, 94, Jackson Heights, Queens, New York Was surrounded by her family on Dec. 10, 2017 at the Cranford Park Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center. Eloisa Rivera was born on April 3, 1923 in Neiva Huila, Colombia. She came to Queens in the 70s to live with her youngest sister, and stayed in her apartment for 34 years, making sure that when we visited it never looked the same as the last. She was a strong, independent, feisty woman who met people everywhere she went, and made long lasting relationships. She is survived by her beloved daughter Beatriz Cadena, grandchildren Natalie Soto, Bonnibelle Cadena, and Stephanie Cadena, great grandchildren Jaiden Soto, Noah Soto, and Victoria Martinez, nieces, close family, and friends. We would like to say thank you to the staff at the Cranford Park Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center who made sure she was well taken care of, and comfortable during her stay. You may not be with us, but for every moment we shared with you, a little piece of your love, character, and feistiness will live on in all of us. May you rest in peace.
