Emil M. Maybo

Maybo, Emil M. 89, passed away at home in Irvington , NJ on November 20, 2013. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the funeral on Tuesday, November 26 at 8:30 AM from the Union Funeral Home-Lytwyn & Lytwyn, 1600 Stuyvesant Ave., Union, with the funeral service to follow at St. John's Ukrainian Catholic Church, Newark and the interment at Evergreen Cemetery in Hillside. There will be a visitation at the funeral home on Monday from 2-5 PM with the parastas at 4 PM. Emil was a member of St. John's Catholic War Veteran's Post 227 and the Knights of Columbus Vailsburg Council # 4066. He was a WWII veteran serving in the Marines and seeing action in Okinawa. Mr. Maybo was the son of the late Mary and Alexander, the dear brother of Andrew and his wife Laura and the late Joseph Maybo. He was the dear uncle of Andrew Joseph and his wife Amy and the loving great uncle of Joseph.
