Emily M Bajek

Emily M. Bajek, 94 of Bloomfield, entered into eternal life on Tuesday, September 24, 2019 at her home.  Born in Bloomfield to the late Antonio Kaminski & Anna Karvoski, she was a lifelong resident.   She was a former secretary for the Bloomfield Recreation Department.  Emily was a devout parishioner of St. Valentine Church.  Her and her husband, the late Edward, where instrumental in raising funds for parish capital campaigns.  She was an active member of the Altar Rosary Society, the Social Concerns Committee and served as a Eucharistic Minister.  Outside of St. Val’s, Emily was a member of Girls State and the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary Post at the White Eagle.  She actively participated in many other local civic organizations.    She is preceded in death by her husband, Edward (1991) & siblings; Charlotte Kuepfer & Alfreda Sadecki.  She is the beloved mother of Edward Jr., & his wife Michele, loving grandmother of Alyssa & Brianna Bajek.  Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 29, 2019 from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.   A Funeral Mass will be offered on Monday, September 30th at 10:00 a.m. at St. Valentine Church, Bloomfiled.  (No visitation at the funeral home Monday morning).  Interment will follow at Glendale Cemetery, Bloomfield.  In lieu of flowers kindly consider a donation to the Missionaries of Charity, 170 Sussex Ave., Newark, NJ.
