Eric J Goodman age 71 of Irvington died on Sunday August 23, 2015 at Father Hudson Center for Hope Hospice, Elizabeth NJ. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend a Memorial Mass on Wednesday August 26, at 11:00am at St Joseph Catholic Parish, 767 Prospect St Maplewood, NJ. There will be a memorial gathering from 10:00 - 11:00am at the Union Funeral Home Lytwyn & Lytwyn 1600 Stuyvesant Ave Union. Born in Newark Eric lived in Irvington for many years. Eric was employed for the township of Irvington in different capacities Town Attorney, Municipal Judge, and Prosecutor. Eric also served in the United States Army during Vietnam. Eric is survived by his beloved wife Sharon, his dear mother in-law Eleanor Haese and many other relatives and friends.
