Eric P Johnson

Eric P. Johnson, 65 of Willingboro, NJ, entered into eternal life on October 13, 2023 at his home. Born in Jersey City to the late Edward & Mary (nee: Healy), he lived in Irvington for many years, Maplewood and West Orange, before settling in Willingboro in 2008. A graduate of Irvington High School, he was a proud US Navy Veteran and was last employed as a truck driver for the Hostess Company & Wonder Bread.

Eric enjoyed the simplicities of life. While younger, he loved riding his Harley & Kawasaki. Later in life he enjoyed going on the occasional cruise with his wife, spending time with his family and spoiling his dogs. Eric was an inspirational member of AA for 28 years, encouraging others to overcome their addiction and better their lives.

He is the beloved husband of Deborah (nee: Wiezevich), caring stepdad of John Schroder, Monique McKenzie & the late Conrad McKenzie, proud grandpa to Tanner Camp McKenzie, Hudson Schroeder & Ethan McKenzie. He is also the loving brother of Matthew Johnson, Mary Yaworsky, Leaf Johnson, Aaron Johnson & the late Alice Johnson and son in law of Christine & Ronald Vanderbilt.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 21, 2023 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Union Funeral Home. A prayer service will take place around 10:45 a.m. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Hillside, NJ.
