Ethel E Pallante

PALLANTE, Ethel E., (nee:Werrell), 96, of Readington, passed away peacefully on Thursday April 6th at her residence.

She was a clerk at Raritan Pharmacy in Hazlet before retiring and moving to Arizona for a short time. She enjoyed spending time with all of her family. She loved to bake her famous cookies for all occasions. Always loved to spend time in Long Beach Island sitting on the porch and listening to the ocean and taking her nap. She was always ready as soon as someone said want to play cards. The grandkids always got a kick out of grams when she would keep everyone on track and make sure they played by the rules.

She was a loving and caring person and will be missed by all of us.

Ethel is survived by her daughters Phyliss Fariello, Sue Jordan and her husband Steve, Karen Baron and her husband Frank, and her son Vito Pallante III and his wife Cheryl. Her grandchildren Ralph Fariello and his wife Liz, Robert Fariello and his wife Laura, Scott Baron and his wife Katie, Kyle and Kirsten Baron and Tyler and Brandon Pallante, her great grandchildren Danny, Natalie, Madison, Caroline and Ryan Fariello, and Beau and Chloe Baron. Also survived by her brother Larry Werrell (Dolores), and her sister Trudy Bruzzio.

Ethel was predeceased by her husband Vito Pallante Jr., her parents Gustave and Gertrude (nee:Levak) Werrell, her son-in-law Ralph Fariello and her nine brothers and four sisters.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday April 12th from 3:00 to 8:00pm at the Levandoski-Grillo Funeral Home, 44 Bay Ave, Bloomfield, NJ.

A Prayer Service for Ethel will be offered on Thursday April 13th at 11:00am with family and friends welcomed to the funeral home at 10:00am. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington

In lieu of flowers donations in Ethel’s memory may be made to the St. Jude Children’s Hospital .
