Eugenio Giliberti

Eugenio "Gene" Giliberti, 59 of Belleville, entered into eternal life, suddenly, on April 16th. Born in Newark on December 2, 1955 to Joseph & Sylvia (nee: DiMeo), he lived in Belleville since he was a teenager. Known to many as "Geech", he worked in the automotive industry for many years. He was previously employed by Volvo of Montclair as a Service Advisor for over 25 years, until they closed recently. He then began working for Tri-County Lexus in Little Falls just over a year ago. In 1987, he married the love of his life, Kathy (nee: Melillio) at St. Francis Xavier Church, Newark, from that union came 4 beautiful children who were his pride and joy. His great sense of humor and effortless ability to always tell a joke will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. He is survived by his loving wife Kathy, his beloved children; Gina, Nicholas, Danielle & Joseph, his father Joseph, his siblings; Immaculata Marra, Lucia "Lucy" Casale & Angelina "Angie" Kelly and his precious granddaughter Lucianna. Visitation will be held on Monday, April 20th from 4:00 p.m. through 8:00 p.m. at the Levandoski-Grillo Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 44 Bay Avenue, Bloomfield, NJ. Relatives and Friends are invited to attend the funeral on Tuesday, April 21st at 9:00 a.m. at the funeral home, thence to St. Anthony of Padua Church, Belleville, where a 10:30 a.m. Funeral Mass will be offered. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.
