Florence J Mcintire

Florence J. McIntire, 89 of Glen Ridge, entered into eternal life on November 24, 2018 at Mountainside Medical Center, Glen Ridge. Born in Belleville to the late Gene Benedetto & Juliet (nee: Luzzo), she lived in Glen Ridge. She was the owner of Computerized Tax Service of Bloomfield and retired as a District Manager for H & R Block. She is a past member of the Newark/Bloomfield Elks #21 and was once Elk of the Year. She is predeceased by her husband, Sterling (2000), her children; Stephen McIntire & Patricia Doherty & her sister, Julie Potter. She is the beloved mother of Michael McIntire, cherished grandmother of Christopher, Matthew, Samantha & Corrine Doherty, beloved sister of Phyllis Giordano, Joy Emery, Vickie Cancelliere, Barbara Benedetto & Jean Benedetto. She is also the proud and loving great grandmother of Connor Liam Doherty. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 27th from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Levandoski-Grillo Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 44 Bay Ave., Bloomfield, NJ. Relatives and Friends are invited to attend the funeral on Wednesday, November 28th at 9 a.m. a Funeral Mass will be offered at Holy Name of Jesus Church, East Orange at 10:00 a.m.. Interment will follow at Glendale Cemetery, Bloomfield, NJ. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the family.
