Frank J Esposito age 85 of Union died at home on Sunday May 31, 2009. Born in Newark Frank lived in Irvington before moving to Union 26 years ago. Frank began his career in Goverment service with the Veterans Administration in July of 1946 and transferred to the IRS in 1947. he subsequently became an Internal Revenue Agent and in 1956 transferred to the Intelligence division as a special Agent, he was later selected for the Intelligence career program leading to the position of Group Manager in 1967 in the Newark District and retiring in 1976.Frank served in the US Navy during WWII as a radioman 3rd class. He was ststioned in the South Pacific and was responsible for ferrying soldiers to beaches from landing crafts. Frank was a Usher, lectern, and member of the Holy Name Society of St Leo's Church, Irvington and also an usher at Holy Spirit Church. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus 4505 of Union.Frank is survived by his beloved wife Arlene (nee Lovallo) His loving sons John and his wife Amy and Richard and his wife Maureen, his grandchildren Richard, Lisa, Jena, John, and Cara. he was predeceased by his sister Catherine Nasuta.
