. Fred E. Correy, Jr. entered into eternal rest on February 20, 2017 at University Hospital in Newark, New Jersey. He was the beloved son of the late Fred Correy, Sr. and the late Amelia Santos Correy; Fred was born on August 5, 1940 in Canton, Massachusetts. Fred was an advocate Disc Jockey in Washington D.C, a former Private Investigator in Essex County and he worked in the Florist Industry. Most recently he was employed at Hollywood Florist, where he designed and delivered floral arrangements. Fred had numerous achievements in his life including one outstanding performance in the movie "FRENCH CONNECTION". His imaginative ways painted a picture every time he spoke. Fred was a great story teller who made stories come to life. He also knew how to put a smile on everyone's face even on a bad day. In addition to his parents, Fred was predeceased by his wife Mildred Cedeno Correy, his brother Walter Correy, his sisters Barbara Correy Washington and Euphemia Correy Harding. He leaves to mourn him, his son Aaron and his daughter Cria; one brother, David Correy and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. . He proudly served his country as a Marine during the Viet Nam War.
