Furio "Chickie" Dinardo

Furio (Chickie) Dinardo Jr. passed away unexpectedly at the age of 73 in his home on Monday, April 20, 2020. Furio Dinardo Jr. was born December 11, 1946 and lived in Newark and North Jersey, returning to Newark in later years to care for his mother. He will be remembered for his complex mind, a lover of art, music and classic films. Chickie enjoyed performing random acts of kindness to those he met with the hope of bringing a smile to someone’s day. He will be missed. He leaves behind his friend Barbara Albert and the loving community and care of dear friends at Branch Brook Park Manor in Newark, NJ. Furio Dinardo, Jr. is survived by his children, Laurence Dinardo (Jennifer), Deborah Adams, Robin Dinardo (Mary), Mark Dinardo (Eileen) and 10 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Furio Dinardo, Jr is predeceased by his parents (Furio Dinardo Sr., and beloved mother, Geraldine and siblings, Joseph, John and Ersilia Contugo. Furio is survived by siblings, Ernest (Doris) and Mary Lipani (Joseph). A future memorial service is anticipated and will be held at a later date.
