George W. Murray

George W. Murray, 75 of Bloomfield, entered into eternal life on Monday, November 21st at Beth Israel Medical Center, Newark. Born October 8, 1941 in Santiago, Chile, he lived in Bloomfield since 1995. He was a retired Air Traffic Controller and Livery Driver. His great sense of humor, was second to none. He took every opportunity to laugh and make people laugh. He enjoyed listening to the oldies and watching movies. He is survived by his beloved wife of 36 years, Maria (nee: Carrasco), his children; Mae, Mike, George, Beverly & Brenda & 5 grandchildren. He is also survived by three siblings in Chile, Charles, Mae & Tom Murray. Visitation will be held on Friday, November 25th from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Levandoski-Grillo Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 44 Bay Ave., Bloomfield, NJ. A Funeral Mass will be offered on Saturday, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Rose of Lima Church, 11 Gray Street, Newark, NJ. Cremation will be held in private.
