Geraldine Fitzgerald, 85, of Union passed away on Nov. 12, 2017. Beloved wife of the late Bill Fitzgerald. Loving mother to Colleen Fitzgerald. Sister of William, Mary and Betty McNamara, Marcella Hosonitz, Kathleen Sherman & the late Gertrude Smith. Gerri is also survived by many loving nieces & nephews. Gerri was a member of the Holy Spirit Rosary Alter Society & 60+ Club. She also volunteered at Cornell Hall Nursing Home. Gerri will be remembered as a very caring and compassionate woman who devoted her time to helping others. She was the cherished daughter of James and Katherine (Mullaly) McNamara. In her spare time Gerri enjoyed reading the Newfoundland magazine, The Downhome, and telling stories of her life growing up in Newfoundland, Canada.
